Susmita Priyadarshini Mishra
Assistant Professor
Ms. Susmita Priyadarshini Mishra is an Assistant Professor of Law at KIIT School of Law, KIIT DU, Bhubaneswar. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Criminal Law and Victimology and holds an LL.M. in Criminal and Security Law. Her teaching areas include Law of Crimes, Criminology, Victimology, Penology, Juvenile Justice, Evidence Law, and Interpretation of Statutes. She has contributed to interdisciplinary projects, including IKS initiatives and a policy study on prosecution in collaboration with IIT Kharagpur, and serves as Co-PI for the IKS Internship Scheme (MoE, 2024–25). With publications in Springer, Sage, Nova, and Emerald, her research covers predictive policing, AI in healthcare, cybercrimes, and juvenile justice. Actively engaged in outreach, she is NSS Programme Officer and Co-Convenor of the Centre for Criminal Law, reflecting her commitment to impactful legal scholarship and reform.
