Dr. Rakesh Mohan Das

Assistant Professor II

Dr. Rakesh Mohan Das joined KIIT in 2022 as an Assistant Professor (II) in the Department of Physics, School of Applied Sciences. His research interests include quantum optics, photonics, quantum computing and information, AMO physics. He completed his integrated M.Sc. in Physics from IIT Kanpur after clearing IIT-JEE 2006, and worked briefly as an IT consultant at Polaris Software Labs, Chennai. He earned his Ph.D. from Kyoto University, Japan, under the Monbukagakusho fellowship, collaborating with J-PARC. After returning to India in 2019, he worked at NISER and Utkal University. He has ~7 years of teaching and 3 years of industry experience.
