Dr. Banishree Misra

Associate Professor I

Dr. Banishree Misra is currently serving as an Associate Professor-I at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Deemed to be University, where she has been a faculty member since 2008. She earned her Master’s degree in Power Electronics and Drives in 2007 and her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2018, both from KIIT. Dr. Misra has published over 35 research papers in reputed journals and conferences, including those by Elsevier, Springer, and IEEE. She is an active member of several professional societies, including IEEE, the Institution of Engineers (India) [IE(I)], the Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (ISLE), the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA). Her research interests include power electronic converters, power quality improvement, design and analysis of active and passive filters, adaptive filter design, and grid synchronization techniques.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Dr. Banishree Misra obtained her M.Tech in Power Electronics and Drives (2007) and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (2018) from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (Deemed to be University)
