Dr. Alivarani Mohapatra
Associate Professor I
Dr. Alivarani Mohapatra is an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University. She earned her Ph.D. from NIT Rourkela, M.Tech from BIT Mesra, and B.Tech from IGIT Sarang (Utkal University). With over 21 years of teaching and research experience, she joined KIIT in 2009 after serving at BIT Mesra and TPCODL (formerly CESCO). She delivered lectures at Dumlupinar University, Turkey, in 2015. A member of IEEE, IE (India), ISTE, and a Chartered Engineer, she has published 63+ research papers. She has guided 12 M.Tech and 1 Ph.D. scholar, with six Ph.D. students currently under her supervision. Her research interests include photovoltaic systems, partial shading mitigation, fault analysis, and control.
