Dr. Sarat Chandra Swain

Professor

Dr. Sarat Ch. Swain, Ph.D., is a Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, with nearly 29 years of teaching and research experience. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from KIIT University in 2010 and an M.E. from UCE Burla in 2001. Dr. Swain has published over 250 research papers in reputed international journals and IEEE conferences indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. His research interests include artificial intelligence applications, soft computing, FACTS controllers, power system stability, PV modeling, and grid-connected solar systems. He has supervised more than 11 Ph.D. and 45 M.Tech. scholars. A recipient of multiple research and teaching awards, including the Best Staff Award (2011), he has published six patents, one granted, and is currently involved in four CSR-supported consultancy projects with leading industries.
