Dr. Anish Pandey

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR-II

Dr. Anish Pandey earned his Ph.D. in Robotics and Control (Mechanical Engineering – Design) from NIT Rourkela in 2016. His research focuses on bio-inspired optimization, fuzzy logic, neural networks, and evolutionary algorithms for robot motion and orientation control. With over eight years of post-Ph.D. teaching and research experience, he serves as Assistant Professor II (Level-11) at the School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University. Dr. Pandey has published 36 papers (21 SCI/SCIE and 15 Scopus/WoS), holds 17 granted and 33 filed patents, and has over 2,500 Google Scholar citations. He teaches Machine Design, Mechatronics, FEM, and AI-based manufacturing. His ongoing projects include autonomous cleaning, articulated, and humanoid robots, alongside a sponsored project from TIH IIT Guwahati and various consultancy assignments.
