Dr. Arindam Basak
Associate Professor
Dr. Arindam Basak is an Associate Professor in the School of Electronics Engineering at KIIT Deemed to be University, where he has served for over 12 years. He holds an M.Eng. in Power Engineering from Jadavpur University and a Ph.D. in Engineering from IIEST, Howrah. His research focuses on earth-abundant materials for low-cost thin-film solar cells, semiconductor materials, oxide-based gas sensors, biomass-to-liquid fuel conversion, and sensor interfacing. He has published extensively in reputed journals and conferences and has contributed to multiple DST and SERB-funded projects as a co-investigator. A recipient of the SERB-SIRE fellowship, he also leads training and placement, industry engagement, entrepreneurship initiatives, and industry-academia collaboration at KIIT, fostering student involvement in industry-sponsored programs and seminars.
