Dr. Bharat Chandra Routara

Senior Professor

Dr. Bharat Chandra Routara is a Senior Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, where he also serves as Chairman of the Central Library Committee. He earned his Ph.D. in Production Engineering from Jadavpur University in 2008. With over 30 years of teaching experience, he has guided seven Ph.D. scholars (five ongoing) and seventeen M.Tech students. Dr. Routara has published over 100 research papers in reputed international journals and presented widely at global conferences. His research focuses on non-traditional machining, cryogenic cooling, surface characterization, and optimization of machinability parameters. He holds an international patent and is a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India) and a life member of ISTE, IIIE, and The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
