Dr. Kunja Bihari Sahu
Professor
Prof. (Dr.) Kunja Bihari Sahu completed his Ph. D. (Mechanical Engineering) from Jadavpur University, M. Tech. (Thermal Engineering) and B. Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) from University College of Engineering, Burla (presently VSSUT, Burla). He has an experience of more than 33 years in teaching. His major areas of interest include Combustion, Heat Transfer, and applications of Computational Fluid Dynamics in Enclosure problems. He has guided 3 Ph. D. scholars and 17 Master’s dissertation and published more than 30 research articles in peer reviewed international journals, international and national conference proceedings. He is currently a Professor at School of Mechanical Engineering in KIIT Deemed to be University. He has also taken up the position of Dean (UG Programmes) of KIIT Deemed to be University. He occupied important positions like University Academic Council member; Chairman, Board of Studies (BoS) of School of Mechanical Engineering. Prior to this, he served as the Director (Academics) of Spintronic Technology and Advanced Research, Bhubaneswar. Dr. Sahu is a Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Indian Society for Heat and Mass Transfer (ISHMT), and Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA). He is also a Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India).
