Dr. Smaranika Nayak
Assistant Professor-II
Dr. Smaranika Nayak is from Steel city Rourkela. She obtained her B-Tech and M-Tech degree from Odisha’s premiere institute “UCE Burla” presently VSSUT Burla. She had completed her PhD from KIIT University. In 2007, she joined Mahindra Satyam as Design Engineer. She then joined GIFT college in 2009 and SCITM college in 2010 as Assistant Professor. Currently, she is working with School of Mechanical Engineering as Assistant Professor-II. She has been awarded with one Gold and Silver medal for Best Engineering Post Graduate and Best Mechanical Engineering Post Graduate. She has expertise in modelling, assembling and detailed drawing of different industrial and commercial components (GE Home Appliances). Her research centres on the design and development of FRP composites and nanocomposites for automotive applications. She has published
many papers in scopus and sci indexed journals. She has reviewed many Elsevier, Springer and MDPI journals.
