Dr. Simanchala Behera, MLISc, B Sc (Chem.), PGDCA, PhD (LIS).in a career spanning over 25 years of Professional Journey, currently he is working as a faculty in the Department of Library & Information Science, School of Liberal Studies, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He started his professional career in the year 2000 as a Part time Lecturer in the PG Dept. of Library & Information Science, S.M.I.T. (Group of Institutions), Brahmapur, Odisha for three years continuously and then part time guest Lecturer cum Librarian up to 2016 in the same organisation.All his professional careers starting from BLISc to MLISc and finally got his PhD Degree from Berhampur University. Besides Librarianship, he is equally passionate about teaching as a part time Guest Lecturer in SMIT (LIS) & Distance Education Cell (LIS) Berhampur University what he regularly learns. He involved with LIS PG Students for preparation of their Dissertation/Project works and contributed papers for national & International conferences. He has published one book, Book chapter and articles also. He is the member of certain professional bodies like IASLIC & ILA.
