Dr. Suvendu Barik, Senior Assistant Professor, KSEC, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. With a strong academic foundation, Dr. Barik holds a Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi) and did his M.Phil., Post Graduation and Graduation from Odisha. He has also qualified UGC-NET, demonstrating his expertise in his field. Dr. Barik brings over five years of teaching experience and more than four years of research and analytical expertise to his role. He has worked with esteemed organizations such as NUEPA, IIFT, NCERT, and the Planning Commission of India, contributing to significant educational and policy research projects. As a dedicated academician and researcher, Dr. Barik continues to make valuable contributions to the field of economics and education.

Projects & Consultancies
As a Project Assistant in NUEPA, I was preparing the questionnaire, collecting, analysing and interpreting the data according to the requirement of the project. I have also experienced the data analysis and interpretation work on the trade data for the project on ‘Price Elasticity of Demand for the Top 10 Products for the Top 10 Countries’ in IIFT, as a Research Associate. Similarly, in NCERT, I was working as a Survey Associate for analysing the data and preparing the report regarding RMSA of India for the class-X students. However, lastly with the CPRHE/NUEPA as a ‘Project junior Consultant’, I was Working with both the secondary (Census data for the district level analysis) & primary survey data for analysing & interpretation on the various aspects of Indian higher education system.
