Dr. Lipsa Dash

Assistant Professor

Dr. Lipsa Dash completed her Ph.D. from Utkal University and holds a Postgraduate degree from the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur. She later pursued a second Master’s in Animal Law from Lewis & Clark, USA, after attending the Cambridge Centre Law Lecturers’ Workshop on Animal Rights. An alumna of KIIT School of Law (B.Sc. LLB, IPR Hons.), she uniquely blends Cyber Law with Intellectual Property Law. She has worked as a Patent Associate at Banana IP and interned with reputed organizations, gaining diverse legal exposure. Awarded “Law Teacher of India – Cyber Law” by INBA (2023), she has authored papers in IPR, Cyber Law, and allied fields, and frequently speaks at national and international forums. A dedicated researcher, zoophilist, and naturalist, she advocates strongly for animal rights.
