Dr. Pratiti Nayak

Associate Professor – I

Dr. Pratiti Nayak holds a Ph.D. in Law on Corporate Governance & ESG Regulations and specializes in Business & Corporate Laws. She earned an LLM in Business Laws with a University Gold Medal and a BA-LLB (Hons.) with two University Gold Medals from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. A Qualified Company Secretary (ICSI – A27256) since 2010, she has over 13 years of teaching experience at the School of Law, KIIT, handling subjects like Contracts, Company Law, Corporate Governance, Securities Regulations, and Insolvency Laws. Her research interests include ESG, Sustainability, Circular Economy, and Corporate Governance. Dr. Nayak has presented 20+ papers, published around 15 articles in reputed journals, and regularly delivers lectures at ICSI and other institutions. She has also collaborated internationally in conferences and research projects.

Dr. CS Pratiti Nayak, Associate Professor-I and Associate Dean of Research at the School of Law, KIIT-DU, was felicitated with the prestigious recognition of “Saluting the Contributions Beyond Boundaries” by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), East India Regional Council, Kolkata (EIRC) on October 19, 2024, in Kolkata.
This special honor was awarded in recognition of her outstanding contributions to education and teaching, despite being an Associate Member of the institute herself. Dr. Nayak’s unwavering commitment to advancing legal education and shaping future professionals has earned her this distinction, underscoring her influence both within and beyond her professional community.
