Dr. Shyamantak Misra

Assistant Professor

Dr. Shyamantak Misra, Assistant Professor at KIIT School of Law, holds a Ph.D. in Adoption & Surrogacy Laws from KIIT DU. She completed her BA LL.B (Hons.) from Madhusudan Law University and LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Laws from SOA DU, with certifications in Medical Laws and POSH. With over six years of teaching experience, she has taught at The Law College Cuttack, SOA National Institute of Law, and Madhusudan Law University. At KIIT, she has served as Coordinator of Examinations, Batch Coordinator, and Faculty Convenor of various initiatives. Her expertise spans Family Law, Corporate Crimes, Environmental Law, and Personal Laws. Author of two books, 11 book chapters, and 10 papers, she guides Ph.D. scholars, has presented at 30+ conferences, and received the Young Researcher Award (2022).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Ph.D. in Surrogacy & Adoption Laws, LL.M. (Corporate Laws), BA LL.B (Hons.), earned certifications in Medical Laws from Institute of Mumbai and in Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace(POSH) from Indian Academy of Law and Management.
