Abikshyeet Panda

Professor

Dr. Abikshyeet Panda, has more than 10 years of experience in teaching Oral Pathology, Molecular Pathology, Oral Histology, Dental Anatomy and Embryology. His passion towards Oral Pathology has pulled him into active research, where he working in Salivomics, Genomics, RNAomics, Tumor microenvironment, Application of EMW in Diagnostic Pathology and Tumor Biomarkers. He graduated from SCB Medical College, Cuttack and did his Post graduation from MGPGI, Pondicherry. He was the University Topper in Pondicherry University in the year 2010. Afterwards he joined Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences and established the state of the art Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from scratch. He established the IHC Lab facility at KIDS, in the year 2014. As an Organizing Secretary he organized the 18th National Post Graduate convention of Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologists at KIIT DU in the year 2019. He was selected as the sole Indian and represented India at Khon Kaen University, Thailand in the International Workshop of Clinical Research Methodology. Presently he is working on many Research projects with active grants from various agencies from Govt. of India. His strong point is teaching student’s Pathology by relating them to day to day events.
