Dr. Ananya Mitra

Dr. Ananya Mitra is an Assistant Professor in Economics with a PhD in Analytical and Applied Economics from Utkal University. With 18 years of experience in teaching Economics to engineering students, she specializes in applied economics and has a strong focus on bridging theoretical concepts with practical applications. Dr. Mitra serves as the course coordinator for various programs, including the Minor in Financial Economics (using Data Analytics) and Minor in Sustainable Development, Open Elective for B.Tech, M.Sc and M.Tech students. Her research interests lie in the intersection of economics and data analytics, and she is dedicated to advancing the understanding of economic principles in technical and interdisciplinary contexts.
