Dr. Asit Behera

Assistant Professor

Asit Behera is an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at KIIT University. He holds a doctorate from KIIT and a master’s degree from NIT Rourkela. Beginning his academic career in 2014, he has eight years of teaching experience at KIIT. His research expertise includes EDM, laser welding, and superalloys, with publications in reputed international journals and conferences. He has authored a book titled EOT Crane Model and contributed multiple book chapters. Skilled in software tools such as X’pert HighScore, MINITAB, STATISTICA, ADAMS, SolidWorks, CATIA, and MATLAB, he has taught Engineering Mechanics, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Measurement and Control, Metrology and Quality Control, and Material Science. He is keen to continue research in superalloy processing and characterization.
