Dr. Avinash Chaudhary

Research professional with experience of 8+ years in Fire and Combustion Science. Education background includes a Ph.D. on Combustion and Fire Safety from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee (India), and MS in Thermal Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra (India).

Currently working as Assistant Professor in School of Mechanical Engineering, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), India.

Previously worked as postdoctoral researcher at CORIA laboratory, INSA Rouen, France on “Near wall combustion with high temperature materials”, project MATRYSSE and “Behavior of aeronautic composites under flames”, project AEROFLAMME. I was responsible for design and development of a test bench for the reaction to fire of composites used in aeronautics.

Research contributions include several peer-reviewed “Research Articles” published in leading International Journals, Conferences.
