Damodar Suar
Professor
Dr. Damodar Suar is a professor emeritus and expert in research, social and organizational psychology. He earned his Ph.D. in Social Sciences from IIT Kharagpur and an M.A. in Psychology from Utkal University. With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Suar has made significant contributions to teaching, research, and consultancy. He has published over 145 peer-reviewed articles, co-authored and edited several books, and supervised 39 Ph.D. candidates. He served as Editor-in-Chief of Psychological Studies and is a fellow of the National Academy of Psychology (India). Dr. Suar’s research focuses on leadership, disaster resilience, happiness, and well-being, with his work being widely cited. He has led numerous research projects and continues to shape the academic field through his leadership and scholarly work.
