Bedadyuti Sahoo

Faculty

Dr. Bedadyuti Sahoo is currently working as a Faculty in the Department of Library and Information Science, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He holds MA (Political Science, Public Administration, and Library & Information Science), DCA in Computer Science & Certificate course in MS-Office, LL. B, and PhD (LIS). He has more than 20 years of professional experience. Besides his professional experience, he has been working as a counselor in IGNOU since 2015 in Library and Information Science. He has published 03 edited books, 55 research papers including 25 articles in reputed national and international journals. He has presented a number of papers in national and international conferences, Seminars and workshops. He is a life member of Utkal Library Association, Operational Research Society of India (Bhubaneswar Chapter), Indian Library Association, Academic Library Association, and member of Management Libraries Network and Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centers. Dr. Sahoo has reviewed papers for Independent Journal
of Management and Production, International Journal of Information Dissemination and Technology, Asian Journal of Education and Social Studies and a few other international journals. He received best paper award in national seminar conducted at Srusti Academy of Management, Bhubaneswar. Dr. Sahoo loves to teach students, an active librarian and a successful researcher. The key areas of his research include database management systems, information seeking behaviour, information literacy, electronic resource management. Dr. Sahoo is the editorial board member of different referred journals like, IJM&P, VSRD international journal of Library and Information science, International journal of computer science, and technical editor of Asiatic Society for Social Science Research. He has supervised more than 10 MLIS dissertations during his tenure of service as a credit to his professional career.
