Dr.Hemalata Jena

Assistant Professor

Dr Hemalata Jena is an eminent researcher and academic working in the areas of materials science and engineering. She specializes in composites, mainly the mechanical characterization and development of fiber-reinforced composites. Dr. Jena also has propelled the effort with her research on sustainable and high-performance materials, and their role in enhancing material mechanical, machining, tribologocal and durability, amongst other relevant studies, which are gathering a significant number of citations.
Dr. Jena has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work at multiple international conferences during her career. Her research focuses on the design of sustainable materials consistent with green engineering. As a mentor to students and early-career professionals in Production Engineering, she is also a distinguished educator. Her focus on research and education makes her a respected figure in her field.
