Mr. Himanshu Sekhar Pradhan

Associate Professor II

Prof. Himanshu Sekhar Pradhan is a public health professional with over 22 years of experience in techno-leadership and academic roles across UN agencies (WHO, UNDP, UNFPA) and the School of Public Health, KIIT DU. His expertise spans Public Health in Emergencies, NCDs & its risk factors, Reproductive, Maternal and Adolescent Health, Disaster Risk Reduction, AMR, HIV/AIDS, HMIS, Nutrition, and Migrants’ Health. He has led innovative projects, provided technical support to governments, contributed to policy, programme management, capacity building, mentoring, and partnership building, and since 2017, he has been actively engaged in teaching, research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, serving as resource person and providing consultancy to national and international agencies.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

  • Master’s degree in Hospital & Health Management with Specialization in Health Management, from Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) University, Jaipur, India
  • Master of Population Studies, from International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, India
