Prior to joining KIIT in 2012, she had the opportunity to teach at University of Cincinnati and Michigan State University as a teaching assistant. Dr. Tripathy hails from the state of Odisha, India and has earned her PhD in Physics from Michigan State University working under the supervision of Prof. Warren F. Beck in the Dept. of Chemistry and Prof. Lisa J. Lapidus Dept. of Physics. She had then worked with Prof. Robert M. Dickson at /georgia Inst. of Technology, USA as a post-doctoral researcher, following which she joined KIIT as an assistant professor. Her broad area of interest lies in the field of biophysical research. Duly inspired by her training in multidisciplinary research involving Physics, Chemistry and Biology, she is keen on exploring the dynamics of disease related proteins using various Laser spectroscopic probes.
