Kartikeswar Mahalik

Assistant Professor

 

Dr. Kartikeswar Mahalik is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, in the School of Applied Sciences at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Dr. K. Mahalik completed his Ph. D. in Mathematics in the year 2023 from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. He received his M. Sc. degree in Mathematics in the year 2016 from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. He received his B. Sc. degree from Institute of Mathematics and Application Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He works in the field of applied functional analysis, specifically in functional inequalities, fixed point theory, nonlinear analysis, well-posedness theory of various nonlinear inequalities, and the area closely connected to it.

Awards and Achievements

1. Received National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) Undergraduate Fellowship (2011-2014). 2. Qualified CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET-JRF) with CSIR Research Fellowship (2017). 3. Qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) (2018).
