Dr. Motiniva Nayak

Assistant Professor I

Motiniva Nayak is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the School of Economics and Commerce, KIIT-DU, Bhubaneswar. She previously held assistant professor positions at the Centre for Undergraduate Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Guwahati Off-Campus), and the Department of Economics, Central University of Rajasthan. She has also served as Visiting Faculty at Xavier Institute of Management University, Bhubaneswar, and as Guest Faculty at Sambalpur University.
She strongly advocates for teaching and understanding economics from multiple perspectives is very urgent in addressing development challenges with effective policy solutions. Her doctoral research focused on access to finance and economic performance among micro, small, and medium enterprises in India from 1970 to 2010.
