Dr. Nilotpala Bej

Assistant Professor II

Dr. Nilotpala Bej is an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at KIIT, Bhubaneswar. She holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from UCE Burla, an M.Tech in Thermal Engineering from NIT Rourkela, and a Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur (2015). Her research work focuses on computational fluid dynamics (CFD), including gas liquefaction at cryogenic temperatures, vortex tube gas separation, and winglet aerodynamics. Skilled in ANSYS FLUENT, OriginPro, and Tecplot, she currently guides two Ph.D. scholars, with one receiving a doctorate in 2025. She also serves as Faculty-in-Charge (International Students), CAE Lab, and Tutor-Mentor Committee. A lifetime member of ISTE and ISCA, she is treasurer of ISHRAE Bhubaneswar. She has organized ICAMPD 2019, ATAL FDP 2024, and VAANI 2025.
