Dr. Prakash Ghose
Associate Professor I
Dr. Prakash Ghose is a faculty member in the School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT University. After completing his B.Tech, he worked as a Project Engineer at Predominant Engineers Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon. He later obtained his Master’s degree in Heat Power Engineering from VSSUT, Burla, and subsequently joined KIIT University as a faculty member. Dr. Ghose earned his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, specializing in combustion, where he worked on a gas turbine combustor project sponsored by GTRE, Bengaluru. His research interests include thermal sciences, combustion modeling, devolatilization kinetics, and CFD-based energy simulations. He also supervises several Ph.D. scholars, focusing on experimental and numerical research in combustion and energy systems.
