Dr. Prasanta Patri
Assistant Professor-II
Dr. Prasanta Patri serves as an Assistant Professor-II of Economics at the School of Economics and Commerce, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from IIT Indore, an MPhil from Ravenshaw University, and an MA in Applied Economics from Pondicherry University. His research interests span Climate Change, Disaster Management, Environmental Economics, Econometrics, Health and Sanitation. Dr. Patri has gained extensive teaching and research experience at reputed institutions including IIM Bangalore, IIM Indore, NIT Rourkela, KIIMS Cuttack, and PJ Group of Institutions, Bhubaneswar. A recipient of the Climate Reporting Fellowship (YKA, India), he has published in globally indexed journals such as IJDRR (ABDC-A, Q1) and Mental Health and Social Inclusion (Scopus), Economic and Regional Studies(Scopus).
