Dr. Sambhabi Patnaik
Assistant Professor
Dr. Sambhabi Patnaik joined KIIT Law School as an Assistant Professor in April 2018. A university topper, she graduated in 2014 with honors in Intellectual Property Rights and earned her LL.M. from NLU Jodhpur in Cyber Law and Cyber Security in 2015. She was awarded her Ph.D. in Cyber Law in 2024. Prior to academia, she worked as an Intellectual Property Associate at a leading IPR firm in Bangalore, gaining valuable industry experience. She has also conducted training at institutions including the State Police Academy. A passionate traveler and national-level chess player, Dr. Patnaik has represented India in international student exchange camps and values holistic development. She is a recipient of the KIIT merit scholarship and is known for her love of reading and multidisciplinary learning.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s in Law, Master’s in Cyber Law and Cyber Security, UGC-NET qualified in Law, and Ph.D. in Cyber Law.
