Dr. Sanjib Jaypuria

Assistant Professor

Dr. Sanjib Jaypuria earned his Ph.D. in Electron and Laser Beam Welding, along with modelling and optimization utilizing Machine Learning methodologies, from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India, in 2021. Prior to this, he completed his M.Tech from IIT Delhi and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Rourkela. Dr. Jaypuria gained industry experience at L&T and Tata Motors after completing his B.Tech. His primary research interests revolve around employing machine learning for modelling and soft computing for optimization in manufacturing processes, and 3D Printing. Additionally, he delves into mechanical and metallurgical characterization, robotics, and their various applications. Dr. Jaypuria has authored numerous research papers in International Journals and Conference Proceedings, Book Chapters. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, India.
