Dr. Sarita Nanda

Associate Dean, Associate Professor II

Dr. Sarita Nanda is an Associate Professor at the School of Electronics Engineering, KIIT DU, Bhubaneswar, India, with over 25 years of teaching and research experience. She has published 90 papers in reputed SCI journals and conferences. She has guided four Ph.D. scholars, with four ongoing. Her project, “Data Driven Big Data Analytics for Resilient Smart Grid Event Management,” has been recommended for funding under the ARG program. She served as PI of a DST (SERB) project titled "Design and Development of Dynamic phasor and Frequency estimator complying IEEE C37.118 standard"(2019–2023) and received the SERB-TARE Fellowship (2019). Her interests include adaptive signal processing, smart grids, biomedical signal processing, wireless communication, and embedded systems.

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Best Teacher and Researcher Award 2025, Research Excellence Award 2024 in Signal Processing on the eve of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Birth Anniversary on September 5th, 2024, at the National Symposium on New Educational Policy, the International Best Researcher Award in the field of Wireless Communication and Signal (IRRA-2022), and the Women Researcher Award at the International Scientist Awards on Engineering Science and Medicine in July 2021.
