Seema Kumari Ladsaria
Associate Dean
Dr. Seema Kumari Ladsaria is an Associate Professor in the Department of Humanities, School of Liberal Studies, KIIT University. She holds a Ph.D. from IIT ISM Dhanbad on “Imaging and Semiology: A Study of Roland Barthes’s Literary Theory.” Her research interests include Semiotic Studies, Medicine and Literature, Graphic Fiction, and Energy Humanities. A Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society, London, she has published widely in reputed international journals and supervised Ph.D. research on diverse interdisciplinary topics. She received an ICSSR project on cognitive distortion during the COVID-19 era (2021) and a conference grant on Indigenous Languages (2019). Dr. Ladsaria’s research explores literature, films, and media through multidisciplinary and eco-humanistic perspectives, emphasizing climate change, vulnerability, and the evolving intersections of text and context.
