Assistant Professor
Since 2019, Shruti has held the position of Assistant Professor in the School of Electronics Engineering at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, a deemed university located in Bhubaneshwar. She earned her Bachelor of Technology degree, specializing in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, from the same institution in 2015. Prior to her academic tenure, she gained 8 months of experience as a software trainee at Aricent. Continuing her academic journey, she pursued and completed her M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIT Bhubaneswar, 2019 where her focus was on research in wireless communication. In 2024, Shruti successfully defended her PhD thesis at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Titled “Design of Metamaterial Based Terahertz Absorber For Refractive Index Sensing,” her doctoral work underscores her proficiency in the field. Her research interests encompass wireless communication, THz technology, and metamaterial absorbers. With a publication record exceeding 10 contributions in reputable international journals and conferences, she has made notable contributions to advancing knowledge in her areas of expertise.
