Shyam Sundar Behura
Professor
Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura has 10 years of experience in the field of Oral pathology, Microbiology and Forensic Odontology and have been working presently as Professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial pathology. He is also the Deputy Director, Student Services, KIIT Deemed to be University and is responsible for all student activities at KIIT and heads the KIIT Student Activity Centre. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree (BDS) from Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and Masters (MDS) from Bharath University, Chennai. He has also done his Postgraduate Diploma in Medicolegal Systems (PGDMLS) from Symbiosis, Pune. He has been a passionate teacher, a PG Guide and a researcher with a number of International and National Publications. He has also authored a book on Oral Spindle cell lesions. His core area of research includes Tobacco associated lesions and conditions, oral cancer and Forensic Dentistry.
