Assistant Professor

Dr. Smita Rani Panda Obtained PhD. in Mechanical Engineering From KIIT University in 2024.She worked extensively in Bio/Nano-Composite Materials especially as development and characterization of Dental Materials in collaboration with reputed dental hospitals. She has prior work experience both in academia and industries. Her area of interest includes Bio-materials design, systems engineering, optimization techniques, composites manufacturing and characterization.

As a Community Based project Coordinated visited many villages in Khurda district such as Injana,Gandarpur,Daruthenga,Kendupatna,Balipada and conducted awareness programme on Dengue,Health and Hygiene,Panchayat raj system,waste management,voter rights etc.As a NSS Programme officer (SME) conducted different outreach activities like Cleanliss drive,organising blood donation camp,Mega plantation drive, women safety awareness programme etc.
