Dr. Sumanta Chaudhuri

Associate Professor-I

Dr.Sumanta Chaudhuri is currently working as Associate professor-I in School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT DU. After graduation, he worked as a Scientific Officer in Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) and was involved in design, commissioning and operation of Nuclear Power Plants. His recent research interest is in the area of fluid flow and heat transfer in non-Newtonian fluids, Electro Magneto hydrodynamic (EMHD) pumps, Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) pumps, Application of analytical and semi-analytical techniques like perturbation method, Homotopy perturbation method(HPM), Adomian decomposition method(ADM), Least square Method (LSM) in fluid flow and heat transfer problems. He has published around 25 papers in Journals and 10 conference papers.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, M.Tech in Thermal Science and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, B.Tech in Mechanical Engg. from NIT Rourkela
