Sunil Kumar Mishra
Assistant Professor
Dr. Sunil Kumar Mishra is an Assistant Professor at the School of Electronics Engineering, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, India, with seven years of combined teaching and research experience. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Control Systems) from MNNIT Allahabad in 2017 and completed his M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Control and Instrumentation) from the same institute in 2013. Dr. Mishra specializes in nonlinear control, renewable energy systems, and machine learning applications in control engineering. He has published extensively in reputed SCI and SCOPUS-indexed journals and international conferences. He is currently leading an ongoing research project funded by DST, awarded in 2023. His research includes innovative contributions in ocean wave energy systems, optimization techniques, and advanced control strategies. Dr. Mishra is also guiding 3 Ph.D. scholars.
