Tanmoy Putatunda

Assistant Professor

Dr. Tanmoy Putatunda is an Assistant Professor of English at the School of Liberal Studies, KIIT University, India. He holds a Ph.D. in English from Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, where he also completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English Literature. With over eight years of teaching experience, Dr. Putatunda previously served as the Head of the Department of English Language and Literature at Adamas University, Kolkata. In 2013, he was awarded the University Grants Commission Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). His research interests include Urban Studies, the Representation of Cities in Literature, Indian Literature in English, Popular Literature, Cultural Studies, and Postmodern and Postcolonial Literature.
